Joana Filipa Reis

Completed her PhD in sport sciences at the Faculty of Human Kinetics studying oxygen uptake kinetics in endurance sports, namely swimming and triathlon. It is currently a post-doc researcher at the Interdisciplinary Center of Human Performance and is the author of several scientific articles and international communications regarding cardiorespiratory and muscular adaptations to endurance training. During her career was responsible for the training control of the Portuguese swimming national team and at the moment is responsible for the physiological monitoring of athletes from mountain biking, road cycling, runners and triathletes.
